EFCL is made up of people from all walks of life. We hang out together every Sunday because we have one thing in common - we are growing disciples of Christ ... emphasis on "growing." Sometimes we get things right and sometimes we really blow it. But we trust that when we are focused on God, he'll use whatever we can offer to show the world how amazing He is. We're just messy people learning to love God more passionately, love one another more deeply, and serve the world more profoundly.

 

 

We value God's Word (The Bible). Every week one of our pastors speaks directly about a passage from the Bible and helps us apply it to our lives. We encourage you to bring a bible so you can refer to the passage while the pastor is speaking. If you don't have a bible, you can pick one up at the Information Centre as our gift to you.

We value worshiping God together. We sing a variety of music, with the words on big screens. If you don't know the songs, feel free to join in as you catch on. If you want to just soak it up and listen, that's OK too. We also collect an offering during the service. People who come regularly use this as an opportunity to express our gratitude to God and acknowledge Him as the source of everything we are blessed with. As a guest with us, you are welcome to participate but please don't feel obligated to give.

We love kids. Sunday School is available for children up to grade 5 during the morning services, along with nursery care for babies and toddlers. At Church at 6, nursery is available up to age 2.  Ask the greeter at the door if you need directions, or stop by the Information Centre in the lobby.

We don't sweat the small stuff. Not sure what to wear? Some people dress up and lots of people wear jeans. Wear whatever you are comfortable in. Grew up in a different faith or denomination? You are welcome here. Never been to church before? No problem. If you have questions, please stop by the Information Centre on Sunday morning or phone the church office during regular business hours (403-329-3125).

Need a ride to church? Click here to make a request. Requests need to be made by Tuesday at noon to ensure a ride can be arranged.
